About the Position
This massage therapist position is at our Brickell shop, where massage is part of the day spa — private treatment rooms in the back, nails in the front. You will see a mix of regulars and walk-in guests looking for Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and other therapeutic work.
We are looking for a licensed professional who is comfortable in a busy spa environment, can tailor a session to the client in front of them, and keeps the room ready for the next appointment.
Responsibilities
- Perform Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and therapeutic massages
- Assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly
- Maintain a relaxing, professional environment and deliver consistent client care
- Keep treatment areas clean and follow hygiene protocols
- Document session notes and client preferences accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Massage Therapy License (required)
- Proficiency in deep tissue and other therapeutic techniques
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to build client loyalty and deliver a consistent experience
- Previous spa experience is a plus
What We're Looking For
A Licensed Massage Therapist who treats the work as a craft: on time, prepared, and focused on the client. You should be able to move between Swedish and deeper therapeutic work, explain what you are doing in plain language, and leave the room as you found it. This is a massage therapist job in Brickell, not a remote or traveling role.
Location
Neo Nails & Day Spa, 426 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33130. Massage, facial, and waxing use private treatment rooms. Hours: Monday–Saturday 10am–8:30pm, Sunday 11am–7pm. Complimentary parking during service.
Compensation
- 50% commission on services
- 100% of tips go to the therapist — no split or deductions
- $600+ per week based on a consistent 5-day schedule*
- Weekly pay and flexible hours
*Earnings depend on experience, availability, and performance. This is commission-based pay, not a guaranteed hourly wage.
